BBB version 2.6 is released
BBB has just seen a new update arrive: version 2.6.
Developed in direct partnership with the French Ministry of Education and the Interministerial Directorate of Digital, it brings its share of new possibilities and facilitates the use of the tool in general:
- Increase the number of users connected simultaneously up to 150
- Enhanced sound settings
- Simplified presentation display settings
- Added dark mode
- Added functionality for the webcam
- Added automatic transcription
- Added features on whiteboard
Enhanced sound settings
The ability to test and set up your webcam and microphone from the same interface
Simplified presentation display settings
- Thumbnail system to choose to prioritize video, presentation or customize your display
- Ability to assign a display type to other participants when you are a moderator
Adding dark mode
Ability to switch BBB to dark mode.
Adding settings and features for the webcam
- Brightness settings on the entire image or targeted to the person
- Possibility to add a personal background
Automatic transcription added
- Your words are broadcast live
- You can choose to display them or not
- Only available on browsers that allow voice recognition (Google Chrome, MS Edge and Safari)

The information goes through Google, so don't use this feature if you need to exchange sensitive data.
Adding features to the whiteboard
- The eraser tool now allows you to erase strokes and objects

- Ability to adjust font
