Beware of stealer viruses

A wave of stealer viruses is currently sweeping through higher education.

These viruses specialize in stealing credentials (application passwords, VPN passwords, etc.), cryptocurrency wallets, session cookies and other data stored in web browsers in particular. Once exfiltrated, this data is used by cybercriminals for fraudulent or malicious purposes.

With the aim of raising users' awareness of these risks, ministerial players (FSSI, COSSIM) have designed, in conjunction with Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr and the Police Judiciaire, an awareness and recommendations sheet which you can find below.
